A Wide Variety of Materials – Including Labels That Are Highly Water-Resistant!

LX800 prints onto many different materials, including high-gloss, matte and semi-gloss labels. You can also print onto tags, synthetics, continuous forms, transparent polyesters and low-tack adhesive materials. There’s even a high-gloss label stock that’s highly water-resistant. It’s perfect for primary or box labels that can be exposed to water, rain and snow.

You can print labels as narrow as 1.5" wide up to a full 8" wide and up to 24" long.

Two different types of ink – dye and pigment – are available. This ensures that your combination of ink and substrates are the perfect match for your application.

Ink Cartridges

Two types of black ink cartridges are available for the LX800 Color Label Printer: (1) dye-based black for printing on virtually all types of gloss and semi-gloss label and tag stocks, and (2) pigment-based black for superior bar code scanning and a generally higher level of water/UV resistance. Pigment-based black does not work on all brands of gloss label stock. Dye-based color ink cartridges are suitable for use on all types of media except some matte-finish plain papers label stocks. Customer testing is highly recommended before purchasing a large amount of stock or ink cartridges.
